BARBED WIRE
irina maribel cruz garrido
Pierced by such an old love affair
with rusty spikes
lovingly woven
torn by sharp intentions
carving my skin
A flash of cold heat
before the opening of my flesh
an instant of bliss
white blindness
followed by an explosion of screams
Where does my soul go
while my body is constricted
willingly
in the arms
of barbed wire?
